When TV personality Binky Felstead approached SMART for a quality Garden Room, we were thrilled to assist her in her quest for a Home Gym.

Binky, who is best known as one of the original cast members of Made in Chelsea is also a well renowned fashion and beauty blogger.

Binky was originally looking to create the perfect workspace for her partner Max but the project soon developed and ended up becoming a dual garden room space for Max to work in and for Binky to work out in.

Having searched on-line for a suitable supplier, both Binky and Max fell in love with the SMART Ultra, which represents contemporary British design at its peak with its beautiful, powerful lines combined with soft curves and natural red cedar floating panels to create an iconic design statement with a modern twist.

By adding a ViewLine roof, the interior height was extended meaning that the multipurpose building was perfect to be garden gym and for any gym equipment they wished to add.

When asked what made them choose SMART as their supplier, they advised that it was due to the quality of the product, the speed at which the project was progressed and the great service they received throughout.

As you can see, the garden room is getting plenty of use from the whole family and has become a truly multi-functional space.

For Max to work from, for Binky to exercise in, for their daughter India to play in.

And we mustn’t forget Pedro, their 4-legged friend who just loves to be wherever the rest of his family is.

When asked what difference their SMART Garden Room has made to them, Binky replied

“We’re not sure what we‘d do without it now and our friends and family are very envious”

India has lovingly named it her treehouse.

In fact, in a recent Instagram post, Binky claims that the garden room saved her and Max’s sanity during lockdown and I am sure that many of you can resonate with Binky’s situation. Binky said:

“I’m sure all parents reading this get me when I say, trying to keep your child / children out of the one room they KNOW they’re not allowed in is HARD – or just trying to keep them quiet whenever an important business call is happening seems impossible!”

Lockdown certainly focussed people’s minds on their available space and how they used it. Trying to juggle family and work life can be difficult and exhausting especially with children in the house.
