Firstly, I need to dispel a few myths.

Myth 1: Log cabins are cheap.

I’m afraid you simply can’t buy a properly specified garden office for less than £7000. A lot of shed and log cabins sellers are now labelling their products as home offices. It’s a growth market and you can’t really blame them for their opportunism.

But for a solid, secure and comfortable space you’ll need to add suitable double-glazing, insulation, electrics and installation as a minimum. Bingo – back to that £7000 mark.

Myth 2: A garden office is a long term and expensive project.

• We only produce garden office buildings – it means we don’t compromise on quality, specification or service. We’re focussed. A lot of our “multi-tasking” competitors still produce very “sheddy” products.

• We manufacture our range ourselves – we outsource a small amount to ISO manufacturers. Therefore we’re in control of our own quality and timescales. Many of our competitors outsource all their production. It means their quality can be patchy and therefore their product is often flawed in both design and manufacture.

• We’ve been around a while. My team and I have been designing, building and installing garden offices since 2001. In fact we launched the first mass-market range in 2002. This about of hands-on experience is unmatched in the market, even though we say so ourselves!
